Pinning Flowers

My Haystack iron is getting a floral inundation: lots and lots of hand-stitched fabric flowers pinned (and later sewn) to the surface. The halo around the iron (appliqueing the stitch-drawing to the satiny fabric) made it look like a holy relic, and the flowers reference representations of the Virgin of Guadalupe or a reliquary-votive altar offering.
